If you are going to fool everyone into thinking that those avocadoes in the guacamole were actually mashed by your hands or that the cute pinwheel appetizers were assembled and spun with love, you need to dress the part or they’ll see right through you.  Favorite uncomfortable heels (the ones with the satin bow that you don’t like to wear outside) – CHECK!  Classic cinched shirt-dress crisply pressed (by the dry cleaner, of course) – CHECK!  Pearls perfectly placed around your neck – CHECK!  You are your own version of June.
